I’m Corina Olsen-Fleming, the heart behind The Chick Wagon. As a former military spouse who spent years supporting deployed soldiers and their families, I’ve learned the value of service, community, and doing things with care. That same spirit now drives this little farm venture — where with the help of my family, I raise quality poultry with love and attention.

Our Mission

At The Chick Wagon, I believe that raising chickens should be joyful and rooted in good stewardship. Whether you’re a homesteader, backyard hobbyist, or first-time chicken owner, I want you to have access to strong, healthy birds without the overwhelm or heartache.

I specialize in both familiar and rare breeds , with a focus on heritage varieties that adjust well to our Oregon climate. Some chicks I grow out into coop-ready pullets, available seasonally.

How It All Started

The Chick Wagon started with a simple act of service. I saw neighbors who wanted just a few chicks for their backyard flock, but the high cost of shipping and minimum order requirements made it tough. So I began placing larger orders and splitting them locally, helping others get healthy, quality chicks without the extra expense. What began as a small effort to help a few friends quickly grew into something bigger. As someone who believes deeply in food security and community resilience, I realized this was a way to make a real difference — one chick, one backyard coop, and one family at a time
