Easter Egger™ Chicks are like potato chips, you just can’t have one! Not only does the Easter Egger™ come in a variety of beautiful plumage, their eggs vary in colors (green, blue, pink, brown, multi). There’s no telling what color of egg you’re going to find in your coop. It’s like you get your very own Easter Surprise!
The Easter Egger™ chicken comes from breeding Auraucana and/or Ameraucana chickens bred to various breeds and that is why there are variations in the egg colors they produce. However, don’t let their lack of a formal pedigree fool you. They are still decent egg layers and wonderful foragers, making them great for free-ranging and a valuable asset to your coop!
NOTE: Unfortunately we are unable to take specific plume color requests. The color of your pullet will be selected at random, kind of like an EE Grab Bag!🤩
👉READ if you plan to breed your EE. Per our supplier, Easter Egger™ have a 1% chance of being affected by cross beak or scissor beak. This is a recessive gene, so please be aware should you decide to breed EE chickens. If a chick is affected, the disorder typically appears at around 6 weeks of age.
